Company HITTNER d.o.o. from Bjelovar is a Croatian manufacturer of articulated forestry tractors/skidders, agricultural and municipal machinery, attachments, agricultural trailers, agricultural tools and metal components for all types of tractors, harvesters and working machines with a 38-year tradition in production.
Company employs over 80 people and closely cooperates with relevant high schools and faculties on professional and scientific projects, and also offers internships to pupils and students.
History
Developmentand innovation
The history of the company Hittner d.o.o. dates back to 1987 when the small workshop service was founded, and in 1995 it became a company. The main activity is the production of articulated forestry tractors and agricultural equipment, attachments, tractors, trailers, lawnmowers, as well as services in machining and production of metal parts (axles, shafts, cylinders, reducers, gears, sprockets, links, bridges, parts for the automotive industry, other machines…).
In cooperation with the Faculty of Forestry in Zagreb and the Government company Hrvatske šume (Croatian Forests), the first forest tractor ECOTRAC 33V was developed and launched in 2000. Since then, continuous development work has been carried out. Currently, on the market there are models of articulated forest tractors ECOTRAC 60 (60 HP), ECOTRAC 60G (with grapple) and ECOTRAC 140 (140 HP) on the market, with STAGE V engines standards. Skidders are being sold on the domestic and international markets.
In 2021, the company EKO MEĐIMURJE JSC. from Šenkovac near Čakovec took over majority ownership with 80% shares. Majority owner has laid down a 5-year plan for the consolidation and development of all business segments and a more active penetration of international markets. Current share of export activities is up to 40% of the company’s total revenue.

Capacity andtechnologies
Production facilities cover 20,000 m2 of land in the industrial zone in Bjelovar, of which 7,000 m2 is under roof. Machinery Park consists of around 60 CNC machines, welding department, a shot blasting and painting shop, an assembly department and a large spare parts warehouse.
