Key information
The Payment Agency for Agriculture, Fisheries and Rural Development has announced the first call for applications for the implementation of intervention 73.06 within the framework of the Strategic Plan for the CAP of the Republic of Croatia 2023–2027, with a focus on the modernization of forestry technologies in wood harvesting, silvicultural works and the production of forest reproductive material. The total amount of public support available per call for applications is EUR 20,000,000.00, and the support is awarded in the form of grants.
Deadline for submitting applications for support is from January 27, 2026, 12:00 p.m. to February 26, 2026, 12:00 p.m. The minimum value of public support per project is EUR 5,000.00, and the maximum is EUR 700,000.00.
Aid intensity and eligible investments
The intensity of public support is up to 50% of the total eligible project costs, which means that half of the approved investment is co-financed on a non-refundable basis. Eligible investments include the purchase of new machinery, tools, devices and equipment for timber harvesting, silvicultural works and the production of forest reproductive material.
It is possible to procure multiple machines per call, with the total amount of support per project having to be within the prescribed range of EUR 5,000.00 to EUR 700,000.00. The project implementation must be completed within 36 months from the approval of funds and signing of the contract.
HITTNER machines as an object of investment
Tenderers planning to invest in the modernization of forestry machinery can plan to purchase new HITTNER d.o.o. forest tractors and skidders as part of this call, as an acceptable investment in the segment of timber harvesting machinery. This enables the renewal and upgrade of the machinery park while significantly reducing their own financial burden thanks to grants of up to 50% of the investment value.
If you are planning to apply for the call for proposals, you can prepare your application with your consultants or you can contact us to be connected with external consultants specialized in intervention 73.06. Timely preparation of project documentation is crucial due to the limited application deadline and the high interest of the forestry sector in this unique funding opportunity until the end of the programming period.
