Today social responsibility management is an integrative part of business management. A new dimension of entrepreneurship states that it’s no longer enough to turn a good profit; we also have to demonstrate that we didn’t make that profit at the expense of employees, the environment or society. We recognize that our impact is greater than the products and services we provide. The basic goal of our company is to satisfy customer demands through reliable and recognizable quality, with prompt delivery and assured aftersales services, to provide for satisfactory return of invested capital and to succeed as economic entity. We have taken into consideration the new business balance in shape of social approval.
The meaning of the term ‘‘social responsibility’’ refers to the entire spectre of activities and relations the company establishes in this process. As contrast to before when accomplishments were measured solely in financial terms, it is nowadays clear that new age brings additional challenges and it becomes necessary for companies to also take into consideration social and ecological consequences of their decisions.
In Hittner d.o.o. we are motivated to take part in this process in such a way that we bring our business decisions having in mind people, environment and improvement of quality of life in the communities where we live and work.
